Premier Women's Lifestyle Event comes to town April 28th & 29th

LifeTime Expos & Events, producers of consumer expositions, seminars and special events dedicated to living healthy and productive lifestyles, will be producing the upcoming first-ever Greater Philadelphia Women's Expo to take place at the Fort Washington Expo Center, Fort Washington, Pa. Sponsored by the American Heart Association, Philly.com, BEN-FM and the Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association, the comprehensive expo will take place on Friday, April 28, 2006 from 6 to 9 p.m., with a full day event following on Saturday, April 29, 2006, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Attendees will enjoy a diverse range of exhibitors, entertainment, cooking demos, health screenings, spa treatments, discount shopping and informative motivational seminars helping women manage and enhance all aspects of their busy lives.

As part of the Greater Philadelphia Women's Expo offerings, Lifetime Expos & Events has assembled an impressive list of featured speakers, providing attendees with upbeat, informative presentations designed to enlighten and entertain. Featured speakers include: Carol Saline, Philadelphia Magazine's senior health columnist, & published author of the New York Times Bestseller "Sisters". Carol will present excerpts from her latest book "A Day in the Life of the American Woman". A delicious and healthy cooking demo will also engage attendees as they watch Chef & Author Aliza Green create healthy cuisine from around the world.

The Greater Philadelphia Women's Expo will open on Friday, April 28th from 6pm - 9pm and will provide women with a riveting 'Ladies Night Out', featuring a Las Vegas style Male Revue with the Men of the Cave, wine tastings and a fitness demo as part of the festivities. A portion of the proceeds from the 'Ladies Night Out' preview will benefit the American Heart Association. The American Heart Association will also be providing Heart Health Screenings as part of the many health screenings available throughout the two day event.

On Saturday, mothers can bring their children for an array of events geared towards families. Dora the Explorer will be on hand to meet attendees from 10 to 11 a.m. Montgomery County based children's wear manufacturer Annie Quinn will hold its 2006 Fashion show "Sun and Fun", featuring local models aged 3 to 8, at 10:30 a.m. Rounding out the offerings will be a Bellydancing lesson for mothers and daughters featuring local bellydancing legend Lurainya. Hip scarves, veils and cymbals will be provided to attendees who wish to involve themselves in this fun endeavor.
