In light of the Flu Shot Scramble, Flu Shots still available this Saturday
at upcoming Celebrating Life Senior and Baby Boomer Expo Professional Flu Clinics, an approved provider for Medicare, will conveniently administer flu vaccines at no cost to Seniors who carry a Medicare Card and at a nominal charge to those without Medicare cards at the upcoming Celebrating Life Senior and Baby Boomer Expo being held at the Valley Forge Convention Center in King of Prussia, PA on October 15, 2005, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Seniors can present their Medicare cards and PFC will file the claims automatically. Individuals without Medicare cards can also take advantage of a low cost flu shot at a fee of $25.00. Receipts will be provided to those individuals for their use in reimbursement, if applicable. According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the single best way to protect against the flu is to get vaccinated each fall. CDC also notes the best time to get vaccinated is October or November, as flu season can begin as early as October and last as late as May. Lifetime Expos, in partnership with Professional Flu Clinics, is pleased to provide the valuable service of administering flu shots as part of its comprehensive Celebrating Life Senior and Baby Boomer Expo. The free expo will feature seminars and exhibitors providing information, products and services in the realm of education, recreation, healthcare, financial, and home and living for seniors and baby boomers. AARP President Marie Smith will be the keynote speaker on the topic of "Strengthening and Securing Social Security".
