Keeping Healthy by Keeping Track
Presented by Lillian Shah and Laura Messinger

You fall! Luckily you manage to call an ambulance! Now what? Where are your doctors’ phone numbers? Your meds, past hospitalizations, allergy list, and family health history? Where are your insurance card, bank card, power of attorney, living will? It’s a little late to start putting all this together when what is needed at this very minute is A Back-Up Set Of your Medical Records. Maybe your son or daughter, your neighbor, or your Health Buddy have all the information. Do they?

Good record keeping saves time and money, and prevents errors, but most of all, when an emergency strikes, you can just grab your info, hop in the ambulance and turn on the siren. (Well, maybe not hop.)

Prize winning authors Lillian Shah and Laura Messinger will tell you how to get it all organized and under control as they introduce you to their RED NOTEBOOK concept and show you how to create and maintain a set of medical records that is accurate, up-to-date, thorough and accessible.

Keeping Healthy by Keeping Track has won the best book award from the Delaware Press Association and the non-fiction award from the National Association of Press Women
